Yes. He's a lucky man. Shame about the Ryan but I reckon it could be rebuilt.

aye, They've rebuilt Spitfires which were far worser.

Looking at the state of the plane I am just glad he has got out OK.

Re. snake in the cockpit.

Let me tell you it's not funny, even on the ground. The pilot and I left the flight deck (DH Dove) at a very high rate of knots.
The snake ended up as dinner for the locals.
