Luckily everyone survived. Could have been nasty. It's bad enough losing a P-51.

Ouch, last month we lost a B-17. This time a P-51. We are slowly losing our historic landmarks

I saw in the paper that somewhere in Cambridge a vintage Fokker Triplane got caught in a gust and went nose first into the ground. The pilot was still in the cockpit.

On the upside it shows what a tough old bird the Skyraider is, as it managed to land with a good part of it's wing tip missing...

I think that was at the same Duxford show as the P-51, ive seen a picture of it some where
