Whitecourt Airshow 2016

Post by 59North »

I like the airshows held at our local municipal airport. It has that small town flavor, where you can get very close to the aircraft. So long as you behave!
Today, I took some 360 photos of aircraft and action. Thought I might post a small bit of the show here on the forum.
As most of my photos were more the walk around sort, I'm only posting a small sample of the whole aircraft that really interested me. Hope that's ok.

I might just go again for the finale tomorrow; it's only 2km distant.

It would be very rude not to!

Love the two Pitts Specials, I built the red one in the CD GB at Christmas
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Nice! Our airport does a similar thing, though there's no flying and the selection of aircraft is generally not nearly as interesting.

Thanks for sharing!

Nice pictures. You need to go back. ;-)
