At Scone, in the Upper Hunter Valey New South Wales, on Thursday Col Pay took his restored/replica (not sure which) Hurricane on a successful test flight.

He is intending to fly again over the weekend in a public exhibition. I will advise the result when I find out.

Col Pay passed away in 2007, but you're right that Pay's Air Services owns the Hurricane. There's a nice video of its first Australian display on YouTube.

Previously it was owned by Ed Russell in Ontario Canada who had purchased it from David Price in the US who I believe purchased it from Charles Churches estate in the U.K.

Originally built in Canada with registration RCAF 5481.
