Duck Lake Fire

Post by jssel »

As some of you know, I am deployed thru my job with the Red Cross, to a wildfire near my home in northern Michigan. As deputy director of the Red Cross operation I don't get out much. But I found these pictures and thought you might like to see them.

Here is the fire:

It has burned around 22,000 acres.

Hope you enjoy. I have a day off after a nine day stretch. Time for a snooze.

Hope there was no loss of life. Australian's are no strangers to bush fires and sadly loss of life is commonplace.

Good to see the Skycrane doing its bit. Erikkson is to be commended as their product has saves countless lives and property.
