I remember we did have one of these topics on the old forum so thought might aswell start it again and see what people spot :)

Yesterday although not over my house, i saw what i believe to be a Lancaster flying rather low over my college which was very strange but a lovely sight and sound, followed about a minute behind by a dark blue plane with US marking, wasn't able to work out what that one was

Tom :)

About half of all helicopters flying from north of the Moscow to the south (and vice versa) make this right above my house... They range from Robinsons to attack helicopters, and Emergency Ministry's (MChS) too - the latter even at night. :(

On Victory day (May 9) there is a massive military flypast over Moscow. All this a/c will fly over my country cottage ('dacha' in russian) first, and some minutes later - over my home.

As for birds, I saw flycatcher esterday, and pair of ducks had landed on yard in front of my house. Wildlife near Moscow is still exist...

Last weekend to my surprise two F-16 few over my house. Back in my USAF days that was the norm but now? very unusual.

Today a P-3 Orion flew over my Hotel in Jacksonville Florida. That was cool to see.

I had a Pitts Special doing aerobatics over the beach this morning, then in the garden this afternoon saw a Bell 47 helicopter and a Robinson R44 buzz over as well as the usual array of airliners en route to Gatwick
