South Australian Aviation Museum
Spent the morning at SAAM down at Port Adelaide which is about 10 minutes drive from where I live. We are lucky enough to have 2 aviation musuems here in Adelaide and I will be getting to the other one, Classic Jets, over the next couple of days.
SAAM are getting ready to receive a F111 from the RAAF sometime in the first week of March and then once the wings and tail are on the aircraf will take pride of place next to their Canberra.
http://www.saam.org.au/;
They are luck enough to have a Spitfire Mk Vc which saw active service in New Guinea during 1943 before it crash on Kiriwina Island.
Other aircraft include Avro Anson[under resto] C-47B, Canberra B2, Vampire DH100, Sea Venom DH112, RAN Westland Wessex, Fokker Friendship F27, Jindivik and Macchi MB326H
The team down their have done a really great job and are more than happy to have a chat with you. They also have a great range of Airfix kits at really great prices
Enjoy the snaps I took this morning. There are quite a few to look at

Very nice. The open hatch on the Wessex is interesting. New to me.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
