Tempest V to fly?

Post by bluesteel »

Kermit Weeks has just posted on his FB account:

"The Tempest V wings are nearing completion, including control surfaces and installed landing gear, and I'm told they will be reunited with the fuselage within a month!

All work has been done to airworthy standards. We'll see?
"

Looks promising, but reliability of a historic Napier Sabre might be an issue, they had problems when they were new...

The reliability of Kermit Weeks' claims on getting aircraft airworthy are as reliable as a Napier Sabre.
