The Thompson refueller is an interesting looking piece of equipment, and is that the exhaust exiting on the roof of the ambulance?

It certainly looks like it doesn't it? I'm guessing it's to prevent exhaust fumes from being sucked into the rear compartment from a more traditional low down rear exhaust...
