I have just posted some pictures of my Tamiya Churchill in the armour section. They were taken with my ipad so they are a bit shaky but we all got to start somewhere. Thanks to this forum I can now get more enjoyment out of my hobby.

With Postimage.org having been gut punched last week, I'm not sure whether its a good idea to still upload my images there. Really too bad, because I love that site. I knew it was too good to last.

Yep, it still works for now, but obviously y'all haven't heard about the trouble they're in.

It seems that whatever servers/domain host they are using has restricted their upload speed (I don't know the tech-speak for this stuff  ); it's taking forever to upload two pictures using the 'ad image to post' button. I have checked our connection speed using Ookla: 63.88Mbps download, 16.90Mbps upload...

I can't see the 'Add image' button, just blank space. Am I right in guessing I need to create an account with Postimage.org first before the button will appear?

Sorry to be so dumb!

No need for an account but it may not show up on some browsers; try chrome of you have it or can install it or if using a smart phone again try chrome or your phone's own browser instead of a Microsoft product......

Thanks Iggie! You top man. I was using Internet Explorer on a Windoze 10 laptop and couldn't see the button. I have now added Microsoft Edge (a slightly newer browser) and the button has appeared!

I will still use IE for most web browsing due to familiarity (plus 'Edge' is awful in most other ways) but will use 'Edge' when I'm on this forum.

Thanks again Buddy, I will contribute much more now that adding images is so much easier than Photobucket and the like, which used to take ages.

Ta mate!

Be afraid! Be very afraid then! :-D :-D

I'm usually a 'turn off and on again' type techie, with occasional use of windows; that is windows being opened before launching recalcitrant printers through them onto the patio below  .

Tech problem? I've got it sorted! Image
