JamesPerrin wrote:A tip for everyone having trouble posting pics. Use "Preview" this will show you how your post will appear including photos and show problems such as missing around the link to your photo or if it is too big. The "Preview" button is available is you use the "Full editor". There is a link to this beneath the quick reply box at the bottom of each topic page or it is used by default when starting a topic.

Thanks that has helped a lot .AGZ

Why cant it be simple, in other forums I've been in, you just fine your picture/image, in your computer/memory stick, resize if needed, and place in your post

And the site owners would have to pay for the thousands of images posted on this site. It really is no hardship to use an Image Hosting Site :ha:

I posted some photos on the Workshop Window thread a few weeks ago and have just been back to my posting to add some more, but the old ones are "no longer available". Why is this?

It could be that you've moved them or put then in a folder or edited them in some way on the hosting site.
Our it could be your hosting site has changed the format somehow

Ah, sorry Iggie, mea culpa. I re-organised my photos on Flickr last week, which would have changed the URLs, of course. I'll just re-post them.

Thanks

Jim

My problem is that it has been ages (millennia?) since I have used Photobucket and I have forgotten how to edit my photos.
Helluppp! please.

1. Upload your photos,

2. Find the photo you wish to edit; on the left is an icon with three horizontal bars. When you hover over that, a menu appears. Choose Edit

3. An editing toolbar appears at the top of the photo - choose your action,

4. Have at it!

Thank you for that Paul. Unfortunately I must be hovering in the ground effect because nothing happens when I "hover".

I have to admit that I have had very little technical trouble with PB. My beef is their constant fiddling to 'improve' things - which is rarely the case....
