Aviation Gallery

Post by Barry »

Great job on setting this up guy's. One small thing though: Would it be possible, at this stage, to arrange the Aviation Gallery's sub-sections in chronological order?

The Problem is that they are threads and they get ordered by post date. As it is possible to sort the threads (see bottom of the page) , maybe we could number them. However you have to sort them each time as there is no default setting we can change.

Sorry about that Barry, we are a bit constrained by what the forum software will let us do... :)

Decade is the best we can do, without making things overly complicated. There will always be nitpickers who will insist that a subject placed into a 1978 box, should actually be in a 1979 box. The 1970's box allows some flexibility.
Many kit manufacturers are quite vague in terms of identifying the decal schemes used. When this occurs, again, it is easier to place something in the 1970's as opposed to a specific year.

Bruce

Oops...I forgot that each section is actually a 'thread' and any new entry will boot that section to the top, so that the order will be constantly changing. Thanks James.
