Nowhere. I got to work with a 3D CAD tool, designed them from the few pictures I could find, and had them printed on a high-end 3D printer.

From my point of view, the fact that I managed to do this in a day without prior experience or a validated toolchain is at least as relevant as the pods themselves. It has fundamentally changed the question from "will I be able to find such-and-such" to "can I buy this, or will I have to make it myself" :-D

That potentially applies to everyone else here as well; all the software used can be legally downloaded for free, and my computer isn't exactly a monster by current standards. The only remaining barrier is that the printing at this level of detail is (for now) a bit pricy; it works out to 5 euro per part (from a printing point of view; there's two parts there), plus about 2.50 euro per pod, in this particular print medium, and of course there's shipping.

Very nice Rob. still a bit pricey for me but I can see the prices coming down in the next few years.

Thanks.
Yep, it's still rather pricey, but I'm having fun working with this new medium, so it doesn't really have to make economical sense :ha:
