Does anyone have any VA-46 Clansmen decals they're not using? 1/72 or 1/48, Cougar, Skyhawk or Corsair, High or low vis.
I have a ton of unused A-4 and A-7 decals for swap.

Mate, do you know if those marking ever came in a particular issue of kit or would it have to be an after market sheet? I have several A7s in the stash but couldn't tell you what marking they have with them.

Cheers
Al.

Hey Al, how you doing?

The old 1/72 Revell A-7a and the newer Revell (ex Hase) 1/48 A-7e kits have VA-46 decal options.
The Monogram 1/48 'Blue Angels' A-4e has the tartan VA-46 markings as alternate decals.
There were only a couple of AM sheets with Clansmen markings
Microscale 72-162 colourful Corsairs
Superscale 72 626 Desert Storm

There was a Carpena Desert Storm sheet that only had the VA-46 decals on the 1/72 sheet but I can't even find reference to that any more.

There was also a F9F-8 Cougar sheet many moons ago with the tartan tail fin markings but I've not seen trace of that for years.

I have Microscale sheet 72-162. It's been started but the VA-46 markings appear complete and untouched. PM me and I'll pop them in the post 8-)
I don't suppose that among your decal collection you have anything for aircraft from USS Forrestal? 1/72 preferably.
