Such delicious irony: first, I can't find the little blighters anywhere, then I end up drowning in them. The results of loads of experimentation on the same basic design..

Anyways, I now have more pods than I'm ever likely to use, and the unneeded survivors of the various experiments are looking for a new home. At this time, I have 3 loaded, and 5 empty pods up for grabs (further experiments might mean further surplus pods in the future..). PM if you want some.

Are these still available Rob?

I think they would do for my South Africans. They are as you say very rare.

Most are gone(*), but on the bright side, I found some fixable imperfections and corrected those in the designs. When the new prints arrive at the end of the month, the current bunch I'd intended for my own use will most likely become surplus as well, and thus up for grabs.

(*)there's two left, I just do know which two, as someone else asked for a pair without further specification :???:

Once the surplus proto's run out, they'll still be available of course, but they'd have to be ordered from Shapeways. As we'd hoped, prices are already coming down (to about 60% of previous numbers, despite the redesign adding material and my little kickback :-D ):

Those are ex VAT unless you're signed in with a EU address, and (full disclosure and all that) include somewhere between a euro and a euro and a half for my personal "get rich quick" scheme :-D

Update: down to 1 empty, 1 full pod for now.

I expect more to become surplus at the end of the month when, if all goes well, I get updated prints for my own use.

Updates arrived, most of the newly surplus proto's shipped to their new owner.

Two empty pods and one loaded pod left.
