Avoiding Resin Dust with a Ring of Confidence

Post by AndrewR »

A safety tip when sawing resin bits off the stub. The dust is very nasty, so you should wear a maskImage

To stop resin dust flying around and contaminating the bench, smear some toothpaste on where you make the cut.

This traps the dust and can then be washed off. Plus it gives your resin that minty, fresh breath confidence.

Colin at Freightdog models suggests vaseline as an alternative, but greasy products and acrylic paints are not a good mix.

Cheers
