Very cheap 1.0mm wide masking tape

Post by beany »

With thanks to someone who posted about this stuff on Facebook a few days ago, I've just purchased 36 rolls of 1mm wide masking tape for £2.97 delivered  (via eBay of course, but from Andover in the UK - not Hong Kong!).
It is actually nail art tape which is all the rage it seems. I chose black, silver and red from the many colours on offer and with a buy three, get three free offer on. They are all glossy but I hope to use the black and silver directly where applicable - walk lines on wings etc, and the red, being very metallic and glossy, will probably just be used as masking tape for other painted lines. I haven't used it in anger yet but the bit I stuck to my thumb nail seemed tacky enough so hopefully, when applied with a sealing coat of Klear or two, should be a useful addition to the decals box!

Cheers

Thanks beany. Just got 6 rolls for US $ 0, 86 from China. Am now testing it on an old kit. Seem to be ok, am also trying to soften it, time will show!
