How can I make Chevrolet Axles in 1/72 scale

Post by LarryH57 »

Guys, I'm after tips on creating Chevrolet Axles, as seen on CMP Trucks, FATs? Any tips greatly appreciated as I have robbed my spares box dry for my kit conversions and it seems that every time I get a PSC kit to work on such as their M5 Halftrack the axles are completely wrong!

Are these axles with an off-set differential case on them?
If so
a; two lengths of heat stretched sprue or micro-rod/tube as axles and use a small glass bead for the diff. Coat the bead diff in plastic soup to alter its shape
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.
