smeared canopy

Accidentally smeared the canopy of my Angel interceptor with liquid poly this morning, I have tried polishing with toothpaste and extra fine polishing sticks, but to no real avail- all help greatly appreciated :oops:

I'd leave it for a good 24 hours so that the poly has fully evaporated and the goo hardened up, then sand out initially with medium abrasive, progressing through to fine and ultra fine. If you don't have one I would recommend getting a two or three way nail polisher for finishing. Once you've buffed it up give it a coat of Klear or gloss varnish and it should be restored.

Thanks! I was hoping to get that one finished this week but it looks like I shall focus on my blenheim instead
