Time in clamp ?

Post by KIWI »

I have a Matchbox Tornado F3 , I was not too happy with the size and number of locating pegs in the fuselage so I have added ten tabs to assist with the join . I have been trying to make the fuselage join as secure as possible but there always seemed to be a 1mm gap around the rear cockpit area . I have been unable to find anything inhibiting the join and if held firmly the gap is closed . So I have glued the join and have the fuselage held in clamps . How long should I leave the fuselage in clamps ?
I have used Tamiya liquid cement . I have added the jet pipes as these cover the join and will be adding the nose cone for the same reason .
