Bought some MAV decals for the SAAF Sunderland and was putting them in the Airfix kit box when I noticed two prop blades had broken off.
Whats the quick fix-dob of superglue or should I get replacements?
It's an old French made Airfix that I've had some years, will probably be some years afore I build it and yes,I'm aware SAAF Sunderlands were Mark 5's.

Hi Steve - welcome to the forum. Please pop on over to the Welcome! area and introduce yourself.
I've always been able to repair mine with superglue, but you might think about contacting Airfix for replacements - explain the situation to then. They can only say no.

Re: Broken prop blades
Superglue and some superglue accelerant like Zipkicker would be the best way depending on how bad the break is.

Hi Steve - break the rest of and do her "in-flight"...
or as the guys say, an email to Hornby (Airfix) spares should see you right. Welcome to the forum btw.

Thanks for the info gents.
I'm not totally convinced by the in flight jobs,Al-I have seen them and well yes but..........
Don't ask me why!
I think it's a bit like weathering, when it's done good it is good, however I'm no good at it anyway.

Ah, well - practise makes perfect, and James Perrin here can set you up with some nice prop blurs.
