Navigation Lights

Post by kerensasdad »

Having used the last of my old coloured toothbrushes I was forced to look for suitable material to make my navigation lights.
I found some transparent green and red beads in my daughter's jewellery set and with a little bit of work, they look really good.
She didn't have that many so I bought some more from an eBay seller, these ones measure 9mmx6mm so are big enough for most scales.

Red on eBay
Green on eBay
Blue on eBay

Being acrylic they are easy to cut and shape plus they only cost 99p per 100 so are pretty sound value!

Add blue to the collection and you'll be well sorted.
Good tip, Sir!
