would anybody have any advice about how to box in wheel wells on older kits and trying to make them look less toy like, now making a Froj Javelin and would like to do this old kit some justice, thanks Phil

Square up the edges of the hole. Construct the wing halves. Thin plastic card cut to length but a little deeper that the hole. Glue the sections into place. For curved sections form around a brush handle first. Once cured, cut flush with surface of lower using a sharp blade.
