Humbrol cote question.

Post by RyanW655 »

Hello everyone,

I'm now at the stage where I'm happy with my models.

What I want to know is, is it ok to apply Humbrol cote over the top of decals, because I've got a few models like the Revell White Knight which has a lot of small decals.

I never used to bother with finishes because I knew some day I was going to improve the models.

Thanks, Ryan

Be careful with the original 'cote'. It has a reputation for destroying decals and paint
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I do use Humbrol Clear and that is fairly good although I only use it as the final coat on canopies.
