RAF Serials

Post by Joes1989 »

Hi

Ive just finished a 1/72nd Spitfire MKI and have added my own decals of Spitfire P9374 that has been restored to flying condition after being found on a beach in Calais in the 80's

Ive added Xtradecal roundels and the Code of "J" as per the real spit.

I now need to add the P9374 serial and this is where the problem lies.

I only have Microsoft word at hand and am wondering what font is nearest to the correct serial?

If anyone has ever made there own serial codes before id be really grateful of what font you used.

Many thanks

Joe

For your application I would recommend RAF_PW_ATH.TTF from that site.

A good model is any model you can walk away from.

I didn't realise you had done those. I use the RAF_PW a lot. Thanks for creating it, August.

My pleasure, hope you don't find any glitches. I would love to see any models you've used them on.
