Suggestions for enamel light grey that is not tinged blue?

Post by CementNotGlue »

Hi all
Looking at Humbrol colour charts. 140, 147 and 28 all seem too blue.

Is there a true light grey or some colour I can add?

The ancient instructions I've is tiny amounts of HN4 and HB5 added to HG3!

Were I to reveal the subject, then all manner of prejudices will come into play so I'm keeping stumm.
Thanks in anticipation.

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Retouching at a later date! I'm not sure airbrush-thinned paint has a long shelf life.

A very valid reason.
I'm no help as I don't see blue in any of the H greys.
