hey stuart
you mentioned you have masks for the mossie.
how do these work ? I have read about them and was wondering .
have you ever tried bare metal foil for masking?

Hi Gino,

The canopy masks I was referring to are pre cut (by laser I think) masking tape masks, cut to the shape of the canopy (so you don't have to cut out the frames), they are manufactured by eduard and others.

I got mine from Hannants.co.uk, but in the US you should be able to get them from the likes of squadron.

I haven't used BMF personally but I've seen it used to great effect by others!

Maybe someone else who has will chime in.

Ps. You might find one of the mods moves this thread to the General modelling section (they like to keep stuff in the right areas) - which is fine because you're likely to get a better response, just in case you wonder where it's gone! :)

The masks I think being talked about are a Canadian Company. I will check on that and will pass it on.
