Tamiya Fine White Primer

Post by Blue Elephant »

I've been using this stuff straight out of the rattle can with good results, but want to decant some of it into one of my airbrush's siphon-capped bottles for a job that involves a bit of finesse.....as it will be already thinned to the right consistency, what should I use for a cleaning product in my Aztek afterthe job's done?

Any airbrush cleaner or water will do the job

I'd be amazed if water does it. The Fine Surface White Primer is like a TS spray. I'd use lacquer thinner to be absolutely sure, Liquid Reamer or Badger/Spraycraft Airbrush Cleaner. Not anything that's designed for water based acrylics...

Thanks guys....Lacquer thinner is what I'd guessed it would probably be.

Agreed. I use the gray surface primer all the time and thin with Lacquer Thinner very well. Great stuff
