Revell match to Ocean grey

Post by IrishAir »

Recently I ran out of Hu 106 so I bought 2 revell aqua colours I thought might be close, 47 and 57. A revell P-51B I got today states a whole mix of colours for ocean grey and has left me confused, I've tried conversion charts but they give me different answers so I'm hoping one of you can help.

Cheers,
Paul

I've got three sources that equate Hu 106 with Revell 47, including Humbrol themselves. Of course they could be quoting each other!

I'm afraid I can't get tamiya paints here, nearest place that sells them is 200 miles NE.
I think I'll go for Revell 47 as that's what I was thinking to.
