Painting/masking jet intake trunking - any suggestions?

I am wondering if there's a better way to paint something like this.
Normally I paint the inside of the intake before assembly, then stuff the opening with something when I paint the exterior. It's usually OK but sometimes needs some brush touch up on the inside of the intake near the lip which can be hard to reach.
How do you deal with painting intakes, please?
