USAF South East Asia Scheme in Humbrol

Hi All,

I have a Matchbox 1:72 A-7D to build in what I assume is USAF SEA scheme. What colours should I use Humbrol wise? The instructions give the colours with the old Humbrol Authentic Range numbers:

HU.7 - Green (dark)
HU.8 - Green (mid)
HU.9 - Tan
HU.10 - Grey

Any ideas? I'd rather stick to Humbrol if possible.

HU 9 - H118
HU 10 - H175

However, H175 is discontinued. This is the shade if you can match it.

Does another company make something like 175 that would compatible with humbrol acrylics?

Vallejo Model colour 883 Silvergrey is a pretty good match.

The pattern you're looking for is at the very top, TAC standard.

In summary, you want Humbrol 28, 116, 117, 118
