Thinking of doing the new Airfix Gladiator in Norwegian markings, but nobody does a decal set. Looking at some pictures though, it seems that all you really need are the national markings which can be easily masked and painted because it's just stripes, and the fuselage call number. I'm thinking there must be several sets of generic number transfers out there, but it's getting the right font (roughly at least):
The Clavework Graphics profile at http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/46/pics/113_2_b1.jpg; is what I'm using for my reference.

I know they are classed as RAF pre war they may just do and make a good filler for the decal bank

Re: Numbering
The '4' and '2' are pretty distinctive. Hannants has some modern Norwegian sheets by Vingtor that might have some numbers on them. Vingtor also have a 1/72 sheet of numbers but they are all in white, not sure if one of the smaller sizes on their 1/48 sheet (in black) would work.

Re: Numbering
Correct. Only thing you need is black numbers. As far as letters go, pick any that looks suitable. The letters on your picture seems to narrow/low. They're taller, more stretched.
Here's a couple of pics I found that shows that.
The numbers Frankie links too looks to be a good enough match. I wouldn't have an issue using them at all for this aircraft.
You could also use this sheet, as John says. The smaller numbers should match fuselage size in 1/72. However, the '2' is wrong here.

I'd go for the RAF ones Frankie links to.
I have a Roden 1/48 Gladiator in my stash with Norwegian markings. Hoping to build it very soon.

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...
