white adhesive puttys

Post by toomuchAirfix »

ive been setting up my models into scenes a lot more recently, and had trouble keeping them upright etc so i have been using puttys, glues and tacks to make sure they stay in th epositions i want them to. unfortunately bluetack is blue so sticks out a mile, but i got a white one called u-tac and i have even taken to painting it to fit in. also glues are a real life saver, but for this kind of thing i prefer a gel rather than a liquid, by gel i mean something like ultraloc with a precise nozzle (great for my shaky hands). pics of my awesome de Havilland Mosquito to follow :D

anyway im new here so, Hi! and i hope i can contribute some helpful tips

Greetings and welcome.
I'm now curious as to what positions your models won't adopt. Mine are either on a stand, no problem, or on their undercarriage. Again, no problem.
Looking forward to seeing an "awesome" Mosquito! ;-)

Regards,
Bruce
