Completed for the Harrier group build.
A lovely simple kit to build. The most enjoyable and stress free build that I can remember. I've left it with a reasonable gloss , straight from the factory to the flightline. Only extras used was a canopy mask which although fiddly to apply worked like a charm.
Paints used were all Xtracrylix RAF colours thinned with Tamyia X20A apart from Humbrol acrylic 155 for the fin aerials.
Built from the box as an aircraft of VMA-513 USMC, Misawa Air Base, Japan October 1976.
There are a few images in the group build section.

No 'may' about it; it's a lovely kit and an excellent build!Stamford wrote:I like that a lot! May have to get one.

Nicely done. Looks like I'll be picking one up along with a FRS-1.

Just had a look at it in the Group Build section. A lovely build you've done there.

I do like that a lot. Looks good in Marine markings as well. Great paint job.

Excellent work Shane, that has turned out very well. It's good to see an early USMC Harrier
