Hobby Boss Hawker Seahawk FGA6

Post by bluesteel »

Hobby Boss Hawker Seahawk FGA.6, 806 Sqn HMS Albion 1959

A pleasant build (although it took me from July 2011 until now!). The only issue was I didn't put sufficient nose weight in it, hence the small tail stand to keep the nose wheel on the deck. Brush painted with Revell Acrylics.

Very nice, are the roundels from the kit? Doesn't look like they show the grey demarcation through them. Must move mine up the stash pile.

Yes, all kit decals. They were not as bad as I'd been led to believe. Not totally opaque, but good enough.

Thanks James. The Revell NATO pilots are very good and a perfect fit for the Seahawk cockpit.
