Airfix Sikorsky HH-53C / S-65-C-3

Post by shangos70 »

My final build for Telford. Pretty good fit all round although the rivets made decaling a bind. Just the tips of the main rotors to paint.

Built as a S-65-C-3 of the Israeli Air Force .

That looks super! I really like the camo and the flawless finish. I've always had a hankering for this kit and yours looks fabulous Shane.

Thanks all, I've been told you can't beat a big chopper and this is the first one I've had!! Certainly has a presence, where to keep it is the next issue. I decided not to glue the rotor on so that will aid with transport and storage at least.
