I don't actually have one, but have you thought of making a small jig ? On one biplane I was doing I had all sorts of problems, so I used some extruded brass rod and used it to make the wing to fuselage joint using card to level the ends of the wings. The brass was filed off flush with the upper wing surface. It's a tough joint now.
So many models, so little time.

Lego is a good way to make the jig

Unfortunately Matt's photo hosting from when he built his Camel is defunct but there may be some clues in the build thread. Or drop Matt a PM.

I’ve used Lego on a small 1/72 biplane and am planning on using it on my next Roden 1/32 Spade.
