I've been trying to get these finished. Another batch that has been hiding in the shed.

It looks like all they need are canopies and gears (and maybe some props). I'll look forward to this quintet too.

All done!
An old Airfix Hurricane with low canopy.
Another old Airfix kit. Replacement canopy on this one.
Airfix's old MkIa.
Another MKII with rockets.
The skinny Academy kit. The fuselage has been widened, but it still looks too thin and the canopy is the worst bit. Nice detail though.
Actually, a replacement canopy would sort the pinched look. Academy have made the sliding canopy to fit flush with the flanks, rather than wider to slide over them.
The new Airfix MkI. Fabric wing.

Very nice. I like the smooth paint on the red one, a good job.

It's Rover Red from Halfords. I had a bit left over after touching up the wife's car. The raised detail is quite subdued but visible. I toned it down with a mix of Klear and Tamiya Flat Base. 90% to 10%.

I lived in Kansas for many years - tornadoes yes, but not hurricanes .....
I now live in North Carolina, on the coast even, and we do have hurricanes.
I prefer hurricanes although in this case you can have too many .....
