Hasegawa Beaufighter

Post by Chuck E »

Finally finished this one. It's been sitting around for years.

Really nice kit with lots of extra bits and nice decals. All hand painted using Aeromaster acrylics.
I had to replace the Hedgehog exhausts with resin ones, as the kit ones are featureless tubes.

The hairy stick finish you achieved looks outstanding. Beautiful model.

That's a great finish for hand painting.

Lovely Beau, and a very nicely done and attractive paint scheme. 8-)

Thanks Chaps. The nice finish is easy with Aeromaster Paint. One coat Halfords Primer followed by 2 coats Mid Stone, 2 coats of Dark Earth and a thinned wash of Klear and water. Finally, a single coat of Klear with 20% Tamiya Flat Base.
So many models, so little time.
