The CC SIG on the 2013 show circuit

Post by TomW »

As you can probably surmise from the thread title this is to keep everyone up to date with both confirmed and planned show dates that the CC SIG will be attending during 2013.

We can kick off with the following:

9th February - Yeovilton Model Show - Provisionally booked, awaiting confirmation of table allocation.

17th February - Huddersfield Model Show - Confirmed booking with at least two tables.

7th April - Cosford Model Show - Planned attendance, booking still to be made.

9th/10th November - Scale Model World - Planned attendance, booking still to be made.

I will keep this regularly updated whenever the situations change. If you have any suggestions for shows we should try to display at then please PM myself and I'll have a crack at getting table space.

Regards

Tom

Update time to this thread.

Yeovilton is now a confirmed booking with two tables but I am unable to make it to the Huddersfield show the following weekend due to financial constraints; so if anyone else is able to make it and put on a display please let me know ASAP otherwise I shall need to contact the organising body and withdraw our display.

Regards

Tom

*EDIT* I forgot to mention that I have 4 free entry wristbands available to SIG members for the Yeovilton show, PM me if you wish to attend, first come first served!

Good luck with Yeovilton Tom - I'd offer to try and do something for Hudds but will obviously have my hands (and car) full with the CBK display - sorry mate.

Thanks everyone, I've never done the yeovilton show before but I have heard that its a very good one to attend, so fingers crossed!

@Al, I know how much space the CBK displays take up so no worries mate, that car is always stuffed to the gills.

@Splash, see you there! let me know if you'd like one or two of the complimentary wristbands for free entry.

@James, if no-one can take on the CC display for Hudds then I'll see if I can get the organisers to give the booked tables to the CBK team, I know we need the extra table space this year!!

Hi Tom

Thanks for the offer of a wristband, that would be great, in exchange i will spend the entrance fee on a Costal Command kit and build it for you.
