I hadn't realized that EE built the Blackpool trams. I loved going to the Illuminations

Re: Splash's Tornado Changed to lightning?
Quick update, sorry I haven't made much progress on this one, due to the weekend tied up with the Yeovilton show and a quick 1/48 blitz on Sunday. I tried to fix the u/c in the down position but its so thin and weak I don't think it would take the wight, so its now wheels up.
All the painting is done so it's just the decals to add and its finished.
Regards Splash

Re: Splash's Tornado Changed to lightning?
Decals have now been fitted and if I have done my sums right I have untill tomorrow to add the canopy, refuleing probe and missiles before the GB ends.
This is not a kit I would recommend, the detail is not that good and the part fit for a Tamiya kit is more like a PM kit but having said that it has scrubbed up well.
Regards Splash

The pods are upside down!
Looking odd, but it's always nice to see something different.
Great job, Splash.

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...
