Lightweight

Seeing as I've bought over 160 kits this year I did feel the need to slow down somewhat.
Here are my purchases all for the princely sum of £13

One of my favourite shows but I thought it was rather quieter this year, but I may be wrong. Tom helped me out on the table again which was most appreciated as after a 5.30am start and 2.5+ hours drive to the show I needed all the help I could get re-assembling the models - some of them are quite tricky! We were back to back with the Airfix Tribute Forum/Airfix Modelling SIG and I actually had my AMSIG polo on, so we all blended seamlessly, especially as Paul (peebeep) and the Locate and Cement table were just across the aisle from us. My funds were limited (the 290 mile round trip cost me nearly £60 in fuel for my car) so my main purchase was a Valom 1/72 A.W. Albermarle (show special £20) and then a few items from Tom's "everything is a fiver" crate.

Btw Eric I did enquire of your whereabouts but no one seemed to know.

Because I'm a member of the Farnborough Club, I was part of the team involved in setting it up so I spent a lot of time on various duties - such as looking after car parking and sitting on the front desk for a bit.

I was there for most of the day (I had to disappear for an hour around 2.30pm).
