My old man is a second hand book dealer Dirk, specialises in military stuff amongst others. I can see if he has anything or knows of anyone who does if you like.

There are numerous photos on the internet, but she is sooo large that the detail may not be adequate for you.

Do you use ABE http://www.abebooks.com; ?

I did a keyword search on rms queen mary troopship and came up with 14 books, some duplicated entries - there appear to be one or two that might be useful. AVOID BEWARE of the Print-on-Demand ones, they are more than likely just an internet search or even just a Wikipedia search printed out for you ...

I think my father-in-law went over on the Queen Mary. He was a transportation NCO who initially worked troopship loading to the war zone, then went over to work the receiving end, and then the troop shipments back ....

Publishers like Ginter are now doing print on demand so it may be best to check out any reviews first...
