AZ 1/72 HC-2 Heli Baby

Post by splash »

I have just completed this sweet little mixed media kit from AZ as part of the Iron Curtain GB.

Apart from scratch building the cyclic control and adding thin wire to the Rotor head is a straight out of the box build.

If you are into small unusual subjects I can throughly recommend this kit.

That is an unusual subject but you have done a wonderful job on it. Many congratulations.

I'm so impressed with your model Splash that I've just been on eBay to buy one for myself- unfortunately there's only one and it's over $40.00 inc. shipping, which seems a tad expensive for a model that size :D But, I'll keep an eye open.

Cheers Mike

I think I paid £12 for mine from the Helicopter Museum at Weston-Super-mare.

Splendid job on what looks like a delicate (if expensive) little kit.

Interesting subject matter. It looks like the Eastern Bloc equivalent of the Skeeter.

Delightful Splash! Unusual subject but really nicely executed by you. Park it next to a big Mil for scale/size effect!
