B-17 Yankee Lady and Curtis's Hangar groundbreaking

Post by coptermech »

We are finally having our groundbreaking ceremony on the restoration of the Curtiss flight hangar. This was the site of one of the first flying schools in the US. It has also seen the likes of Charles Lindberg and Amelia Earhart pass through its doors.

We are also pleased to have a B-17, the Yankee Lady here today as part of the ceremony.

I will post any pics of the B-17 and Corsair here when I can. In the meantime, please visit the museum page for more info
