Progress:
Gloss coat on last night and major decals this evening
Typically (in my experience anyway) the HB decals are lovely to look at, not so much to use.....the fuselage stripes have a distinct chevron effect at their joint but thankfully the roundels cover most of this. They are also very brittle and lack flexibility even with softener. Hey ho!

Another short session for the test of the decals and a gloss varnish should see this done :grin:

It is a nice kit, that's for sure. A couple of minor niggles; the fuselage joint (as forewarned by Splash), the intake vanes are a bit thick, the decals as mentioned last night, and the seat being a tad over-height! But, that aside, it's not too bad at all :grin:
