Just watched the season finales of Fear the Walking Dead and The Strain. Both excellent (especially Cliff's epic beatdown scene in Fear TWD) but let's just say The Strain isn't looking so good for eye candy in season 3. Bummer.

I've been making my way through all the old James Bond films recently, in order of release.

Last one I watched was The Living Daylights.

I also fitted in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I still can't make up my mind if Ferris is likeable or a complete douchebag!

My favourite Bond film. The best car in my humble too.

Mad Max: Fury Road.

A bit silly but full of action.

Unbroken

Angelina Jolie's directorial debut, telling the story of Olynpic runner Louie Zamperini's career and internment in a Japanese POW camp in WW2.

Pretty decent, actually.

Barry Lyndon

This morning, being sick at home, I decided to watch for the umpteenth time Barry Lyndon, by Kubrick.
It is a gem, and if anyone hasn't seen yet, then do it asap :)
I know I don't have to make my models so dirty and rusty... but... you know, I need to!

Just been to the cinema with Sarah to watch 'Hotel Transylvania 2'. It's been a long time since I laughed that much.

All the best.

Watched the Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds last night...wasn't as bad as I thought it might be but not nearly as good as the movie of the live performance of the Jeff Wayne version we watched last week...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

The Tom Cruise version isn't bad, it's more of a personal perspective from the characters. Still prefer the 1953 US version filmwise. Good effects for the time and decent characters. Love my CD of the Jeff Wayne version too!!.
Watched Shrek 2 again last night. Still great stuff. Quick watch of 3 then onto probably the best in the fourth one!!.

Fortress

A B-17 crew goes through some tough times with a new co-pilot while flying ops over Italy in WW2.

A low-budget flick, a bit cliched in parts, and does look slightly cheap in parts, but it's not as bad as it sounds.
