Airfix Junkers Ju87B-1 Stuka 'New Tool' 1/72
My New Tool Stuka arrived today; totally up to recent Airfix standards in my view, nicely engraved panel lines, superb detailing within the cockpit, two pilot/gunner figures etc. etc. etc.
Best wishes
Jim

The Revell/Italeri Ju87 is also nice but I think where the Airfix one scores over the Revell version is the fact that the flap actuation rods are depicted properly as actual rods in the Airfix kit. The Revell kit features plastic solid triangles.

The new figures look nice at last they can grab the stick rather than their wotsits. Shame the other arm is not separate too.

Clever Airfix; the B1 parts on a separate frame. Just replace the one frame with B2/R parts
Another kit I shall have to get.

Strange to have one arm seperate and the other with blobby bingo wings. Otherwise looks very smart.

Thanks, Iggie,
interesting rectangular depression where the bomb shackle goes. Even the Airfix 1/48 kit does not have that. Is it filled with another part?

Just picked mine up. A very nice model. Probably the best in the scale. Some very nice detail.
Mine is on hold at the moment.

As a fan of ugly aircraft and a builder of the old Airfix kit,I have got to get one of these beasties.
