Chuck's late arrival from KP

Post by Chuck E »

A bit of a rush build with this one.

Brand new tooling. 3 decal choices. Lovely little kit. KP are on top form with this. I rushed it and could have done a better job.

At this point I should have slipped a 0.010" shim behind the cockpit opening to slightly widen the fuselage. The canopy would have fitted a little better then.

A bit of Blu-Tak will allow you to get this wing joint spot on and no filler.

Painted with a brush using Velejo Acrylics over a Humbrol Rattle Can coat of 29 Dark Earth.

Neat cockpit.

Nice little kit. Good value, plenty of spares, but really needs a new prop for the RAF aircraft. They didn't have cuffs. This is from the spares box. The roundel Blue is a little pale. I may paint it over.

Just needs the yellow leading edge painting on and it's another for the collection.
So many models, so little time.

Well, I never saw that coming! Nice work, and thanks for the heads-up on the wing joint.....Image

Looking forward to seeing this finished (and mine started   )
Best wishes

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.
