This is a single-type GB celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Me/Bf-109 entering Luftwaffe service in 1937.
It is open to any variant based on the 109 airframe; any kit, any scale, any markings, etc.
A goal is that many different variants be built, if possible.

This GB started from a thread here.

The GB runs from March 25th to April 30th; your GBL is Gadfly who will fill in any other info.

I have a good selection of kits in the stash ready for the start and my first build will be the Special hobby 1/72 scale Hispano HA-1112 Buchon.

I'm in with at least one, possibly two Buchon builds.

I'm torn between quick and easy (Airfix 1/72), or something a little more involved (Revell 1/32).

What do you think?
Best wishes

I've not touched a 109 for a long time, I'll have a go with Heller's old B/C or Matchbox E.

I'll sign up, provisionally, with a 1/48 Hasegawa E-3 with Swiss markings. Haven't built a 109 for years....

If I can, I might try to fit in a 1/48th Buchon.

I built the little Heller kit a while back - it's pretty decent.

Weakened? I'd call that lot a complete collapse!

Nice haul; will they all get built in this GB? :-D

I totally should have done this one for the GB - a '109 converted into a Buchon!
